Structure

100 ml of solution include 100 mg hexetidine; 500 mg choline salicylate; 250 mg chlorobutanol hemihydrate - active ingredients.

Additional ingredients: polysorbate, sodium saccharin, propionic acid, 96% ethanol, menthol, methyl salicylate, eucalyptol, purified water, oils (peppermint, anise, lemon).

Release form

Angilex is available in the form of a spray of 30 ml; 50 ml and 120 ml solution.

Pharmachologic effect

Analgesic, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antibacterial.

Pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics

Angilex-Health is a complex drug used for sore throat. The pharmacological effectiveness of the drug is achieved through the action of its three active ingredients - chlorobutanol, choline salicylate and hexetidine.

Antifungal and antibacterial efficacy inherent in the substance hexetidine in relation to many anaerobicand aerobic microorganismsboth positively and negatively colored by Gram method. Weak bactericidal and bacteriostatic effect hexetidinemanifests in relation to aerobic microorganisms, and a persistent bactericidal effect is observed in relation to anaerobic bacteria. A characteristic feature of the mechanism of action hexetidine, due to the similarity of chemical structures, is its ability to competitively replace thiaminewhich is necessary for development microorganisms.

Anti-inflammatory and analgesic efficacy due to exposure to a group drug NSAIDs- choline salicylate and local effects anesthetic - chlorobutanolwhich is used in otolaryngology(rinses, drops in the nose) and in dentistry (irrigation, applications), mainly with analgesic purpose.

When using Angilex solution or spray, its active ingredients are fixed on the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat and are gradually released and have a therapeutic effect.

Indications for use

The use of Angilex is indicated for topical treatment of painful conditions of the throat and oral cavity of inflammatory etiology:

  • stomatitis;
  • gingivitis;
  • periodontitis;
  • sore throats;
  • aphthae;
  • tonsillitis(chronic and acute);
  • pharyngitis;
  • teething pain;
  • laryngitis;
  • oral care (in the postoperative period).

Contraindications

  • atrophic pharyngitis;
  • age up to 2.5 years;
  • bronchial asthma or any other respiratory diseases associated with their hypersensitivity;
  • heightened personal sensitivity to the ingredients of drugs.

Angilex, instructions for use

The spray is intended for topical use for irrigation of the oral cavity.

Adult patients are advised to do 4-6 sprays in 24 hours. Children after 2.5 years are shown conducting 2-3 sprayings per day. The use of the spray is best limited to five days.

The solution is also a topical agent and is used to rinse the oral cavity. For the rinsing procedure, 2 teaspoons of the solution should be displaced with 50-75 ml of warm boiled water, after which, for several seconds, avoiding swallowing, rinse the oral cavity. Overdose

Theoretically, due to inclusion ethanolwith excessive use or ingestion of the drug may form alcohol intoxication.
